Early, staggered release for non-mission essential personnel at Fort Leonard Wood is authorized for today

Due to anticipated inclement weather, an early, staggered release for non-mission essential personnel at Fort Leonard Wood is authorized for today. Unscheduled leave policy is in effect and maximum teleworking if eligible and capable for today. Supervisors are encouraged to manage early release with the following guidance beginning at 11 o’clock this morning. At 11, personnel who reside 30 miles or more from Fort Leonard Wood will be released. Personnel who reside 20 miles or more from Fort Wood will be released at 11:30. Those who reside 10 to 20 miles from the installation will be released at noon. Personnel who reside less than 10 miles from Fort Leonard Wood will be released at 12:30 this afternoon. Personnel who reside on the installation will be released at 1 o’clock. All MWR facilities including Child Development Centers and fitness centers will close at 1:30 p.m. Check the MWR web pages www.leonardwood.armymwr.com/ and Fort Leonard Wood MWR for details. Appointments at the General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital currently scheduled after 11 this morning will be rescheduled. Harper Screening Clinic will be closing at 1 p.m. Call the hospital line at 866.299.4234 for additional recorded information. The emergency room remains open. The Commissary, Main Exchange, and Mini-Mall will be closing at 4 o’clock this afternoon. Donors will be told as soon as possible when this drive has been rescheduled. Due to inclement weather & early staggered release today, there has been a change to the MWR Hiring Fair at the Bruce C. Clarke Library. The Hiring Fair will ONLY be held during the first session: 9–11 am. If you pre-registered for the second session, you are still able to join in as a walk-in from 9 to 11 o’clock.
