Each building in the Waynesville School District hosted a poster contest for Month of the Military Child

April is the Month of the Military Child and in honor of all military children throughout the Waynesville School District, each building hosted a poster contest. We asked that these posters provided a positive message about military children and included the color purple to signify all branches of the military. After submitting their work, the district’s Partners in Education and others judged students’ posters and selected the top three from each building. The winners at Waynesville High School were Ciaera Andres-Kazuma, first place; Kiley Werner, second place; and Calley Mc Call, third place.
