Two Camdenton men suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash at 6:00 last night on Missouri Highway 5, south of the Niangua Bridge. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that a pickup truck driven by 69-year old Kenneth L. Siddens was slowing down for traffic when a car driven by 26-year old Taylor D. Counts ran into the rear of the Siddens truck. Siddens was transported to Lake Regional Health Center; Counts was taken to University Hospital in Columbia. Neither driver was wearing a seatbelt. Counts is facing charges of driving while intoxicated, causing serious physical injury.
