Drury University Receives Second Largest Donation in Schools History

Drury University received a donation making it the schools second largest donation in school history. Richard Grant Lydy is an alumni of Drury and when he left he created the Richard Grand Lydy Trust for his son in his legacy. The donation comes from this trust fund, and its a total of $7.8 million dollars. Executive Vice President of Advancement at Drury University Marie Muhvic is very pleased to receive this grant, and says the University plans on renovating.
Residence Halls will be the University’s main focus, as they have not been renovated in the schools 150 years.
The grant will help out the Fortify the Future campaign which is the University’s ambititous goal to raise $50 million by May 2027.
