Drugs found during traffic stop

A woman’s actions after being involved in a traffic stop is facing felony charges in Laclede County. According to the report, a Laclede County Deputy pulled over a car on the night of December 28th, and found that the driver identified as Tori Howard of Eldridge, was driving without a valid drivers license. Howard was taken to the Laclede County Jail to be released with a summons; however, during processing, Howard allegedly spit on one of the jail personnel. It was then that Howard was placed under arrest and she is now charged with endangering a correctional employee knowingly causing a person to come in contact with bodily fluids which is a Class E Felony. Her bond was set at $5-thousand-dollars with arraignment set for Wednesday.

The passenger in the vehicle, identified as Joshua Harvey of Lebanon, was arrested after a search of the car, which resulted in the discovery of a baggie that contained a crystal substance, and a used syringe. Harvey is charged with felony possession of a controlled substance with a bond of $5-thousand. Harvey’s arraignment is set for Wednesday.
