Drugs diverted and 2 arrested

A 9-1-1 call about a woman who was acting weird resulted in the arrest of two people. Osage Beach Police Officers responded to the 46-hundred block of Osage Beach Parkway on Monday, they made contact with the woman later Identified as 25-year-old Alissa P. Coons. According to the officer report, while speaking with Coons they observed drug paraphernalia in the vehicle. The officer then spoke with the vehicle owner, 30-year-old Alan M Lawson. A search of the vehicle turned up several bags with suspected methadone, pipes, straws with an unknown substance in them, and several other items related to drug use and drug distribution. Coons was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, a bond of $5-thousand surety. Lawson was charged with Deliver Controlled Substance, and Possession Of a Controlled Substance, with a bond of $ 30 thousand surety.
