A November 23rd court date has been set for a Lebanon man who is charged with drug crimes. The investigation began after officers received a complaint about a careless driver on I-44. While responding they were notified that the car had driven to the Wood Street area of Lebanon. The suspect vehicle was located, and the driver 35-year-old Kenneth Cline, was laying down in the seat. When officers searched Cline they found a baggie of marijuana on him. Officers also found a baggie of methamphetamine on the floor of the car, and a backpack that contained more than $30-thousand-dollars, methamphetamine, and 43 lottery tickets. Cline told authorities that the drugs and the car weren’t his. Cline is charged with trafficking drugs and possession of a controlled substance. He also said that he had won the cash from the lottery.
