Drug Trafficking arrest in Camdenton

A narcotics investigation in Camden County has led to the arrest of one person. The Camdenton Police Department and the Mid Missouri Drug Task Force began investigation into a person that was suspected of drug trafficking inside the City of Camdenton. As part of the investigation, officers attempted to pull over a vehicle that was being driven by 47 year old Kevin Stretch, but he fled down Highway Y in Linn creek. During the pursuit Stretch allegedly threw a bag that contained drugs out the window. When it was recovered it was determined that the bag contained over 230 grams of suspected methamphetamine that has a street value of more than $11-thousand-dollars. Stretch was transported to the Camden County Jail and is being held on charges of drug trafficking and resisting arrest.
