The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department has started a program that will allow residents to store potentially dangerous medications. Sheriff Jimmy Bench said they have different sizes to fit the need of the individual…

According to Sheriff Bench, the medicine cabinet at home is frequently the target of teens who either abuse drugs themselves or sell them to other students at school.

The medication drug lockbox is available at the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, the Pulaski County Health Department in Crocker, or at the Waynesville Police Department. Funding for the project is made possible through a joint project including the Meramec Regional Planning Commission.
