A Columbia man is facing drug charges in Camden County after the car he was in was pulled over on Pier 31 Road on Sunday night. A Camden County Deputy pulled over a vehicle at 8:45 on Sunday after receiving a report of a vehicle that was swerving on the road. The driver, identified as 34-year-old Zachary Lee Bullard, allegedly failed a field sobriety test and was placed in custody. When officers did a search of his vehicle they seized a baggie that contained a substance that tested positive as methamphetamine. Also located in the car were syringes commonly used in the consumption of illegal substances. Bullard has been charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and DWI. His bond was set at $ 15 thousand cash or surety.
