More than two dozen counties in southern Missouri are eligible for drought assistance from USDA’s Farm Service Agency. State executive director Joe Aull says counties that have entered extreme drought according to the weekly U.S. Drought Monitor are eligible for several programs.

Aull says additional programs focus on forage and grassland recovery.

Details on these and other Farm Service Agency programs are available through FSA’s website fsa.usda.gov or by contacting your county’s USDA Service Center.
