Downtown improvements at $3.1 Million

The Lebanon Downtown Business District has seen a lot of success over the past few years, with new businesses, facade improvements and a large number of people getting involved in the redevelopment of the area. Downtown Business District Director Sarah Stewart presented an update to City Council on the many things happening in the Downtown Business District.

Several events are planned in the Downtown Business District this year, including the First Friday events each month. Stewart reported that demolition will begin soon to make way for a pocket park and community space on Madison Avenue. Downtown Business District Board Chairman Steve Hite was at the meeting and said that the recent success of Downtown Lebanon wouldn’t have been possible without the support of the City of Lebanon.
