Downtown Business District seeks funding to manage projects
The Downtown Business District Board was recently notified of an anonymous donation of $675-thousand-dollars over the next 3 years to be used for the improvement of the Downtown area. With the additional funds, the board is seeking to hire a full time person to manage the funds of this donation and the projects. Now the Board is looking for avenues of funding which will pay the salary of that full time person. The City of Lebanon has committed $15-thousand-dollars and County Commissioner Darrell Pollock says the board asked the County for some money too….
Pollock said the Commission has several questions for the Board, and will consider the County funds for the position when they consider the 2020 budget.
