A Barnett man is facing charges after allegedly taking drugs into the Miller County jail. A Miller County Deputy pulled over a vehicle on Highway 54 and found that the occupant, 30-year-old Jeffrey Wayne Boyland has 2 warrants for his arrest from Morgan County. As Boyland was being processed the officer warned him that if he had any illegal items on him, he would face charges. Boyland reportedly said he did not, and he was taken to booking. According to the officer’s report, about an hour later, Boyland was observed on camera, pulling something out of his waistband. A bag was confiscated and was found to be holding THC oil. Boyland is now charged with delivery of a controlled substance to a jail.
