Domestic assault charges in Texas County

A Licking man is in custody after an incident on Shannon Lane in the Summersville area on Sunday. According to the Texas County Sheriff’s Office, the pregnant victim reported that she and a man, later identified as Nathan Brunk, were arguing over a phone, when he punched her in the stomach and face several times. When another woman attempted to intervene, Brunk allegedly hit her as well. 25 year old Nathan W. Brunk is charged with one count of Domestic Assault 1st degree and one count of Domestic Assault 3rd degree. He was taken to the Texas County Jail with a bond of $200-thousand-dollars.
