A call about a disturbance last week on St Louis Street in Lebanon has led to charges being filed against a Lebanon man. The victim reported that her boyfriend was at her apartment and trying to get in to get his hat when he broke a window. Police were called back to the residence a short time later when the suspect, 41-year-old Marvin Brown was reportedly knocking on the back door and yelling. Brown told police that the victim first said she would let him stay and then asked him to leave. Police told him to leave and not come back or he would be arrested. Officers were sent back to the apartment at around 2:30 am, and were told that Brown got into the residence, and was angry over her calling police, and because her kids were in her bed. Brown allegedly pushed the victim and hit her in the face. He was arrested and is charged with domestic assault. Brown is also charged with failing to register as a sex offender. He is scheduled to appear before a judge on Wednesday.
