Dixon Woman Suffers Injuries

A 78-year old Dixon woman suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle accident at 6:45 last night on Highway 28 in Maries County. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that a van driven by Julia A. Schreiber ran off the right side of the road, striking a road sign. Schreiber was airlifted to University Hospital in Columbia. Reports say she was wearing a seatbelt.
