Dixon Man Injured In Cole County Motorcycle Accident

A 35-year-old Dixon man suffered serious injuries Saturday afternoon in a motorcycle accident in Cole County. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that the motorcycle ridden by Thomas A. Buttner was cresting a hill while passing in a no-passing zone in a curve, traveled off the left side of the road, and struck a fence line ejecting Buttner from the bike. He was life-flighted to University Hospital in Columbia. He was wearing a helmet.
