Dixon Man Dies In Miller County Accident

A 70-year-old Dixon man was killed in a single-vehicle accident at 5:43 last night on Missouri 17, north of Airport Road in Miller County. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that Barry W. Wisdom was driving a tractor-trailer when it traveled off the right side of the road, returned to the road, and began skidding. The trailer jackknifed and separated from the truck, causing the truck to strike a fence and a tree. Wisdom was pronounced deceased at the scene at 6:05 p.m.
