Dixon man accused of unlawful use of a weapon

A Dixon man who claimed to be retaliating for past offenses by another was arrested early this morning. Law Enforcement in Pulaski County and Dixon Police responded to the 12-thousand block of Chicago Road in Dixon where a man broke into a home and was holding the residents at gunpoint. 51-year-old Thomas G Adams is accused of kicking in the door to the victim’s home and forced his way inside. After he got inside Adams allegedly began pushing one of the victims, and yelling at him, because he had pointed a BB gun at him in the past. Adams then allegedly pointed a gun at the two victims and then pointed the gun at his own head. Officers arrested Adams and he is charged with burglary and unlawful use of a weapon.
