Dixon fireworks this Friday

In less than a week, the nation will be celebrating the Fourth of July. Since the Fourth falls on Sunday this year, Monday will be observed as a national holiday.
The City of Dixon will have its annual fireworks display at 9:30 this Friday evening, July 2nd at Frisco Park. This will follow this month’s First Friday celebration, which will feature hay rides, a young people’s 5-kilometer race, and other events in Downtown Dixon. Select businesses will be open. Area vendors are being invited to set up a booth to offer food and other items. Registration for a vendor booth is $10 for Non-Chamber of Commerce members, and free for Chamber members.
