Deputy injured during pursuit with suspect

A man who had warrants for his arrest in Laclede and Camden County was arrested by a Pulaski County Deputy on Thursday morning. According to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy pulled over a vehicle in the 22-thousand block of Highway 28, and found that one of the people in the car has warrants for his arrest. James Corbin attempted to flee and was chased by the deputy, who then used his taser. Corbin was taken into custody, and after being evaluated by medical personnel was taken to the Pulaski County Jail. In addition to the warrants in Camden and Laclede County, Corbin now faces charges in Pulaski County. The deputy was injured during the arrest and was transported for medical treatment.
