Department Of Natural Resources Updates Lake Beach Closures

The Missouri Department of Natural Resources has updated the statuses of beaches at Missouri state parks. The Day Use Public Beach at Harry S Truman State Park in Warsaw remains open, even though swimming is not recommended due to E. coli.

The department announced a second beach is closed at Pomme de Terre State Park in Pittsburg. As of Friday, Hermitage Beach and Pittsburg Beach are closed because of harmful algae.
