Department of Defense (DoD) Civilian Retiree Identification (ID) Cards will no longer be issued

Fort Leonard Wood officials announced on Monday that, effective immediately, Department of Defense (DoD) Civilian Retiree Identification (ID) Cards will no longer be issued. DoD Civilian Retirees must present and register an acceptable credential such as a REAL ID Act-compliant driver’s license and their retirement Standard Form (SF) 50 at the Visitor Control Center for future visits to morale, welfare, and recreation activities on the installation. Previously issued DoD Civilian Retiree ID Cards will remain valid through August 31st, but will not be reissued. This order does not affect military retirees or their family members.
