A crash occurred last (Wednesday) night in Dent County leaving a driver seriously injured. At approximately 5:10 PM, 32-year-old Salem resident Allie Haines was headed southbound on Route HH, .1 mile South of Salem, in her 2005 Chrysler Town and Country Van. Haines was traveling at a high rate of speed, had a blowout, lost control of the vehicle, and ran off the left side of the road and overturned. Haines was flown by Phelps Air Ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of serious injuries. Extensive damage was done to Haines’ van, and she was not wearing a seatbelt.
