Deer Poachers Identified In Osage County
Osage County Conservation Agent Katie Stoner recently completed a nine-month long investigation regarding the illegal take and waste of six deer. During the investigation, violations were uncovered through interview and physical evidence that the deer were taken with a firearm out of season, from the roadway, and with the use of artificial light. Charges on four individuals were submitted to the juvenile office for take deer with aid of artificial light, take deer in closed season, wanton waste, and take deer from a public roadway.
