Death of an infant was due to shaken baby syndrome
Dallas County authorities say the death of an infant was due to shaken baby syndrome. 24-year-old Brantly Scott is facing charges of child abuse resulting in death and child endangerment charges. Scott will appear in court Tuesday in Buffalo. Dallas County Deputies responded to Scott’s home in Tunas, on December 15 after a report of a baby not breathing. The boy later died from his injuries. Scott initially claimed the injuries were from the boy trying to hold his head up, and bumping his head in the bouncer. During an interview, Scott later admitted to shaking the infant. The boy later died from the injuries.
