Death at South Central Corrections Center
(Licking)–The South Central Correctional Center in Licking is reporting the death of an offender on Wednesday. He is identified as 43-year-old Anthony Cooper, who was serving a life sentence for two counts of first-degree murder, 4 counts of forcible sodomy, 4 counts of first-degree robbery, 4 counts of first-degree burglary, 2 counts of first-degree assault, and 8 counts of armed criminal action, all from St. Louis City. Cooper was received in the Missouri Department of Corrections on October 15th, 1998. An autopsy will be conducted.
