Actual scam call https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XkD8Qon7FhQ&feature=youtu.be

The Drug Enforcement Administration is warning the public of a widespread fraud scheme in which telephone scammers impersonate DEA agents in an attempt to extort money or steal personal information. Everyone is reminded that DEA, will never phone demanding money or asking for personal information. According to Laclede County Sheriff David Millsap the same is for most law enforcement agencies

Sheriff Millsap tells us what to do if we get a phone call from someone claiming to be law enforcement or a government agency asking you to pay them on the phone..

According to the Drug Enforcement Administration in some cases, the caller threatens the target with arrest for a fictional drug seizure and instructs the person, over the phone, to send money via gift card or wire transfer to pay a “fine” or to assist with the investigation or with resetting the bank account. Everyone is reminded, no matter the circumstance, when someone calls you, don’t give them your bank numbers or your social security number, and do not send money through a wire transfer or gift card.
