Daylight Saving Time will end this Sunday, November 1st
(Jefferson City)–Daylight Saving Time will end this Sunday, November 1st, in most of the United States. Since Hawaii and most of Arizona remained on standard time when the rest of the country went to fast time on March 8th, there will be no need for residents there to set clocks and watches back one hour before retiring this Saturday night. The exact time for the changeover will be 2 o’clock Sunday morning in which people who are awake will set their clocks or watches back to 1 o’clock. Most people, however, will set their timepieces back an hour before going to bed Saturday evening and enjoy an extra hour of sleep on Sunday morning. As a matter of interest, residents of the Yukon in Canada won’t be changing their clocks because that territory remains on Daylight Time all year long.
