Dallas – Laclede County Pursuit Ends in Arrest

On 11/19/2021, Sgt Labby spotted this red Jeep on Handley road and noticed the driver of the jeep driving erratically. When Sgt. Labby attempted to stop the vehicle it sped off. Sgt. Labby began pursuing the vehicle in and out of Dallas and Laclede County. K9 Deputy Cpl. Davidson arrived in the area where Sgt. Labby had last seen the vehicle driving through a field off Merchant drive in Laclede County. Cpl. Davidson was nearly hit by the jeep entering back onto Miller road. The jeep then drove north on A highway where it went through a ditch into a brushy field and ended up stuck. The driver fled on foot. Cpl. Davidson, along with his k9 Argo and Deputy Blankenship, gave chase. K9 Argo tracked down the suspect, and the driver was apprehended without incident thanks to Argo. It was later learned the driver from Savannah Mo. had burglarized a residence in Lebanon earlier in the day.
