Crystal Boyd has been ordered to spend 30 days behind bars by a judge in Dallas County after pleading guilty to endangering the welfare of her child. However, the judge suspended a five-year prison sentence for Boyd after she serves shock time.

According to investigators, Boyd’s baby tested positive for methamphetamine when born in October 2020. Boyd reportedly refused to take the baby to the hospital but eventually agreed. The baby had low oxygen levels during transportation to the hospital, and doctors later diagnosed the child with pneumonia, admitting the baby to the ICU.
