A man from Dallas County received a sentence following his arrest for placing a threatening letter in a library book. Court records state that 46-year old Matthew Fleetwood, was given a five-year sentence for multiple charges of second-degree terrorist threats and one charge of making a false bomb report.

The incident occurred in May of last year when a letter inside a book at the library mentioned seven devices located in and around Buffalo, with one allegedly being a chemical device in a school capable of creating a hole the size of a football field. It was signed by someone named ‘Jack,’ claiming to have been hired to assassinate Matthew Fleetwood.

Despite thorough searches conducted in all school buildings and county and city government premises, no evidence of any actual danger was found by authorities.
