Dallas County Man Dies in Tractor Accident

A 58-year old Elkland man died in a Dallas County tractor accident at 3:20 Saturday afternoon. Authorities say the accident occurred when Donald Schmied fell off the tractor he was operating on private property, and the tractor ran over him. Schmied was pronounced dead at the scene.
