Dallas County DARE

The DARE Program has made a return in Dallas County, and now students from Buffalo Prarie Middle School are gearing up for graduation. DARE, or Drug Abuse Resistance Education, is a nationwide program designed to “make children aware of drug and alcohol abuse”. Corporal Chad Garner with the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department, explained what the students have been learning about.
The Fifth Grade Students at Buffalo Prarie Middle School are now preparing to graduate from the program next week.
Because of COVID, graduation ceremonies will be held in classrooms on March 8th and March 11th, but Corporal Garner hopes they can have a bigger celebration next year.
