D.W.I. Charge After Woman Dies In Camden County Crash

A 75-year-old Arcola, Missouri, woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash at 4:20 Monday afternoon on Highway 54 near Tangle Drive in Camden County.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that a pickup driven by 51-year-old Steven L. Vonderschmidt of Linn Creek traveled off the right side of the highway, returned to the road, and crossed the center of the road where it was struck by a pickup driven by 75-year-old Larry R. Graham of Arcola. The Graham pickup then ran off the right side of the highway. A passenger in the Graham pickup, Susan C. Graham, was taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach where she later died. Larry Graham is being treated at Lake Regional for moderate injuries. Vonderschmidt is being treated at Lake Regional for serious injuries.

Vonderschmidt is facing charges of driving while intoxicated, resulting in the death of another.
