It’s getting down to crunch time for bidding in the Waynesville-St. Robert Area Chamber of Commerce online Basket Auction this year. Bids will be accepted on over 100 gift baskets until 6 o’clock tomorrow evening. So far, more than five thousand dollars have been placed in bids in the online auction. Chamber officials say if you want to bid on auction items, give a cash donation, or simply share auction information on your social media, use one of these hashtags, #TasteofPulaskiCounty, #WSRBasketAuction, or #WSRChamber. Winning bidders will be able to pick up their items at the WSR Chamber office by calling 573-336-5121 for an appointment starting April 4th. Please note the Chamber’s hours of operation are weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Winners must present a paid invoice and a valid driver’s license at time of pick up. The paid invoice can be either a paper copy or on your phone. Items can be delivered to you curbside per request. Items not picked up within one week of the scheduled pickup day are subject to resale unless other arrangements are made. No refunds will be issued for items not picked up. If the buyer is out of the local area, they must pay all shipping and handling charges. All items are sold as is with no warranty. No exceptions will be made. Individuals who purchase any basket containing alcohol must be 21 of age.
