Despite the forecast, organizers say the 49th annual Railroad Days celebration will take place Saturday as planned in Crocker Community Park.
The first annual walk-a-thon will begin at 8 o’ clock this morning along the park’s walking trail. Cost is $1 per lap. All proceeds will go toward the upkeep of the trail. A bake sale is being held from 8 to 5 today.
Signup begins at 9 o’ clock this morning for the 2nd annual ATV/UTV Rodeo. Racing will begin at noon. A silent auction takes place between 9 and 5.
The Railroad Days parade will begin at 11 o’ clock this morning with the parade lineup at the school beginning at 10:30.
Food vendors will be on site and the Rapid Fire band will perform from 5 to 8 o’ clock this evening.
