Critter causes power outage in Lebanon 4th Ward Thursday

Residents in Ward 4 in Lebanon experienced a power outage this morning for a short time. Electric Department Supervisor Travis Long tells us that wildlife has been active….

Long said they are taking steps to reduce the number of outages….

Crews will continue to install wildlife guards on the electric poles across the city to help prevent outages, but Long said it will take a while to get to all of them. The electricity in areas of Ward 4 in Lebanon was out for about 30 minutes.
