Critical manufacturing operations continue

Many manufacturers in the area are cutting back on employees with layoff’s or by pausing operations to address the Coronavirus, but there are some who must stay in operation. In Lebanon, Durham Company is considered a critical manufacturing operation, because they supply materials that keep the electric on in our homes. While the employee’s are still on the job, the company is taking steps to reduce the possibility of COVID-19 exposure. Durham Company representative Don Anderson….

Anderson said management is meeting on a regular basis to address their COVID-19 plan. The long term economic impact from the health crisis has yet to come for Durham Company….

Anderson said they are working with their suppliers to keep the supply chain going. He said that they expect Durham Company to come out of this strong or even stronger.
