Covid numbers on the rise and Laclede County gets included in the “Hot Spot” advisory because of it
Laclede County is averaging 17 new cases of COVID being reported each and every day during the month of July. The daily average stood at just over 2 new cases each day during the month of May and rose to 11 new cases per day in June. The state reported 826 new cases on Monday and reported over 3-thousand new cases over the weekend. The number of Missourians that have lost their lives to the COVID virus stands at 9,474. Nearly 607-thousand Americans have died from the virus during the course of the pandemic.
