Laclede County has reported two more cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases in the county now to 23. 13 of those cases are currently being monitored. Laclede County Health Department Administrator, Charla Baker, says case number 23 was showing symptoms of the virus but went to Walmart in Lebanon on June 22nd from 12:30-1:30 p.m. without wearing a face mask………..

Baker says their department advises everyone if it’s not possible to practice social distancing in the location you plan to go, to wear a face mask while out in public………

There will be a community testing event for the COVID-19 virus on Friday. Testing for the virus will be provided free-of-charge, and you do not need a doctor’s referral. You can register for the test by calling 1-877-435-8411, or by logging on to health dot mo dot gov slash community test. You do not even need to leave your vehicle to receive a test, as testing will be done in the parking lot of the Wallace Building. Results should be provided in 24-48 hours.
