Covid-19 response fund set up at Lake Regional Health System

Lake Regional Health System announced it has established a special COVID-19 Response Fund to accept community donations. This help from the community will ensure Lake Regional’s critical care staff continues to have the resources needed to care for patients now and into the future. CEO of Lake Regional Health System, Dane Henry talks about the efforts Lake Regional has made to combat the Covid-19 virus.

The Lake Regional COVID-19 Response Fund will be directed to the areas of greatest need; Support for critical care staff treating this respiratory illness, N95 masks, additional ventilators for those with severe reactions, and upgrades to the intensive care unit.  Lake Regional already has received many kind donations from area residents and businesses during the past few weeks, ranging from masks and gloves to food.
