COVID 19 Positive

The Laclede County Health Department is now reporting a total of 162 Covid-19 related deaths to date. This week an additional 7 people were confirmed by lab testing to have the virus, bringing the total number of confirmed positive cases to 82-hundred-22 cases to date. The COVID-19 positivity rate in Laclede County is 1.8 percent, a full percentage lower than the statewide number which is 2.8 percent, with 36.4 percent of the county population completing vaccination. The Health Department continues to advise everyone to stay home when you are sick and avoid contact with people who are sick. Mask wearing when in public, not gathering in large groups, and maintaining a 6-foot distance between yourself and others, continues to be advised as a way to protect yourself and others, and to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
