Couple from Plato was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Howard County

A couple from Plato was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Howard County this week. According to the Highway Patrol, A vehicle driven by 64-year-old Daniel Curtis of Plato was westbound when he attempted to turn around in the road and drove into the path of a vehicle driven by 59-year-old Thomas Schnell of Booneville. Curtis received serious injuries, while his passenger 71-year-old Nadra Curtis, and Thomas Schnell received moderate injuries. All 3 were taken to University Hospital for treatment after the Wednesday evening crash.
