The Laclede County Commissioners approved three tax levy’s at their meeting this morning (Tuesday). The tax levy’s that were approved consisted of the Lebanon Early Education Program and the tax levy was approved at point 0650 percent, general revenue was approved of zero percent, and the common road district was approved at point 2417 percent. County Clerk Linda Cansler explains why the general fund tax rate should be set at a rate less then 50 percent voter approved roll back percentage of sales tax collection for the first six months.
In other news Presiding Commissioner Randy Angst says one of the two major work projects that are being worked on at the Laclede County Court House is almost done.
The Second Street Entrance project is going to make the entrance more accessible for handicap folks.
