Plans are moving forward with the Lebanon Rock the Block event which is taking place on December 26th and 27th, for Fort Leonard Wood Soldiers who don’t get to go home for Christmas.   The event will includes games, activities, meals, and entertainment, thanks to donors from across the community. Among those contributing to the event is Laclede County. During a recent meeting, the County Commission approved $2-thousand-dollars to be spent from the CDT fund. Rock The Block in Lebanon will bring Fort Leonard Wood Soldiers to the Cowan Civic Center and Mighty Oak Lodge for a day of fun. Willard said they expect more than 200 different soldiers each day, for the event. If you want to give a donation or want to volunteer your time, contact the Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce.
