Coronavirus Threat Has Red Cross Appealing for More Blood Donors
The American Red Cross strongly urges healthy, eligible individuals who are feeling weel to give blood or platelets to help maintain a sufficient blood supply and prevent shortages as concerns about the outbreak of coronavirus disease rise in the nation.
A couple of opportunities will take place in Pulaski County this month to donate blood. The Red Cross Bloodmobile will be at St. Robert Catholic Church Monday, March 23rd, from 2 to 6 p-m. The bloodmobile will be at Waynesville United Methocist Church on Wednesday, March 25th, from 2 to 6 p-m.
There will be a visit early next month of the Red Cross Bloodmobile on Fort Leonard Wood. The blood drive will take place Friday, April 3rd, from 10 a-m to 3:30 p-m in room 105 of the Family Practice/Internal Medicine Wing at General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital.
