Cops N Goblins 6.2-mile community ruck march this Saturday morning at 8 o’clock
(Fort Leonard Wood)–The 795th Military Police Battalion, 252nd, and 180th M-P Detachments are scheduled to host a 6.2-mile community ruck march this Saturday morning at 8 o’clock at the Troop Trail by Training Area 129 on Fort Leonard Wood. All Department of Defense I-D cardholders can participate in the event, which is called “Cops N’ Goblins,” and civilian attire is required. Halloween costumes are encouraged. Participants will carry rucksacks full of canned food and register in one of three categories–individual, four-person team, and family.
Each heat will have a maximum of 25 people, and heats will be staggered at five minutes apart to ensure appropriate social distancing. The ruck march is admission-free and no awards will be handed out. Organizers encourage each participant to carry about 35 pounds of canned food in each rucksack. If feeling any level of illness, participants are urged not to attend. Parking will be available at Abrams Theater. Advance registration is required for the event.
