Cookie contest as part of St. Robert’s Holiday in the Park
(St. Robert)–There will be Cookie Contest conducted during St. Robert’s Holiday in the Park celebration this year on December 1st, right after the Christmas Parade in Waynesville.
Contestants must be amateurs. Chefs, cooks, or culinary arts student will not be eligible. Submissions must be homemade and not store bought. Items must be baked at home and brought to the St. Robert Community Center. Do not submit anything that requires refrigeration. Bring item in disposable bakeware, as bakeware will not be returned. Check in time is at 3:30 p-m on December 1st. Judging will begin at 4 p-m in the kitchen of the Community Center. Left over items will be auctioned off to benefit Shop with a Cop.
Prizes will be awarded to one member or team only in four age category–18 and older, age 4 through 8, age 9 through 14, and age 15 through 17. Prizes will be announced the day of the contest.
